What is a typical upload time of a large file?

If you are importing file types other then MP4, we need to convert them before you can start using them. We realize that may take some time, but that is highly dependent on the type of computer you have, and how many other applications you have using your system resources.

On average, a 45 minute video in MP4 format, 500 MB in size can be added to your project in less then 90 seconds.

However, a similar length video file, 100 MB in size can be added almost instantaneously.

How long does it take to export a Smash?

It all depends on what you have in your Smash. A typical 3 minute smash with few images, less then 10 clips, and few text overlays will process in less then 30 seconds. But every circumstance is unique, we believe that any wait will be worth it for you in the end.

How is the sound quality in my final Smash?

We are not doing anything to the sound at the moment, so if your input is noisy, your output will be as well. However, we are currently working on sound normalization and basic audio cleanup to incorporate in one of our next releases.
